I’ve been reading one of the greatest books of my adult life this week — this has actually somehow dethroned literally Infinite Jest. Which took me 4 attempts to read properly.
“I am the one who sees. From back in here somewhere, I look out, and I am aware of the events, thoughts, and emotions that pass before me”
— Michael Alan Singer
This may actually be the most powerful quote I’ve ever read. More to come on this soon.

I’m writing on this blog because…
I want to become more aware of myself. This includes my emotions, experiences, fears and hopes, daily activities and long-term plans.
I want to build a habit of writing to cultivate mindfulness and help me along the journey to becoming my truest self.
I would like to have something concrete I can look back upon as needed to remember the past, whether it was a useful insight or a bad memory.
I see writing as something that can help with my problems and issues and find ways to break out of patterns through recognizing them.
I want to become less prone to hiding my true emotions and experiences and use this blog as a space for uninhibited self-expression.
